Almit produces specialised fluxes designed to complement the specific properties of Almit solder products. For instance, in conjunction with high-tensile SJ-7 solder, Almit's BM1 flux gel formulation is ideal for manufacture and rework of solder bumps. In addition, the BM1 gel dispensed from an Almit flux pen is perfect for BGA repair. All fluxes from Almit exhibit the same highly consistent properties as Almit solder products and include formulations designed to avoid crystallisation - a characteristic that sees Almit fluxes specified for critical defence and aero- space applications, including NASA's Space Shuttle.
